There is no installer to run. You unzip the download and copy the plugin into your plugin folder, then rescan in your DAW.
Windows. VST3 goes in
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 and CLAP goes in
C:\Program Files\Common Files\CLAP.
macOS. AU goes in
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components, VST3 in
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 and CLAP in
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/CLAP.
Restart your DAW after copying. Logic and other AU hosts only look for new plugins on startup.
Your licence key arrives by email after purchase. Open THERMITE in your DAW, paste the key, and that is it.
Activation happens online once. After that THERMITE works offline on that machine. One licence covers two computers, for example a studio machine and a laptop.
The demo is the full plugin. Every control, every preset and exactly the same processing as the paid version.
The only limitation is a short silence at regular intervals. Nothing is degraded, nothing is watered down, and there is no time limit. Take as long as you want with it.
Switch on GAIN MATCH and A/B it against your own kick. That is the fastest way to know whether THERMITE is for you.
